Contributions to the university included founding MSU’s first affinity group, developing and teaching a 300-level course on activism, and attending a playback theatre conference to enhance expertise in interactive performance. Additionally, involvement as a guest artist in three departmental classes provided practical insights to enrich the curriculum. 2016-2018 Sorbonne Paris University Abu Dhabi Graduating at the top of the class in the MA in Performing Arts Management program at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, studies included collaboration with Sorbonne Paris faculty in a cohort of seven students, where they were the only non-Emirati. An 80-page thesis, titled The Impact of Arts Education on Islamic Practices in the Emirate of Sharjah , was published in Sorbonne’s local newspaper. Toward the program’s end, the cohort organized an international art event in Paris, applying academic insights to a real-world project. 2008-2012 American University of Sharjah With a BA in Journalism, awarded Dean's List honors for two consecutive years. Experience included work as a research assistant, creation of a news program titled eNewsMCM, and conducting over ten interviews with local entrepreneurs. My Story I am a theatre practitioner with expertise in education, performance, social activism, management, and intimacy direction. With 15 years of international experience, I bring empathy and passion to every student and collaborator I work with. Having spent half my life in the United States and the other half in the Middle East, I draw from a rich blend of cultural perspectives that shape my approach as both an educator and practitioner. My work is adaptive, responsive to the needs of each project, person, and organization. I understand that everyone has their unique approach to learning, creating, and expressing, and I am dedicated to supporting these perspectives in a professional and welcoming environment. My fulfillment comes from inspiring others, challenging societal norms, and expanding the boundaries of personal growth, all within a safe and creative space.
